Wildlife Sanctuary in South India - Pakhal Wild life Sanctuary is at
a distance of 50 km from Warangal
in Andhra Pradesh . It is on the shores
of Pakhal Lake which is an artificial
lake and was excavated as early as in 1213AD by the
Kakatiyas. The Pakhal Wild life Sanctuary
sprawls over an area of 880sq. km and is located over
a large plateau nestled among low hills. Height of Pakhal
Wild life Sanctuary ranges from 280-300sq
ft. The picturesque natural beauty of the place along
with the Pakhal lake attracts tourist
here often.

life Sanctuary consists of Tropical
Dry Deciduous Forest comprising of
Bamboo
Teak

Bombax ceiba
